What is Perth Solar City?
Perth Solar City is the newest Australian Government Solar City and will be delivered to communities within Perth’s Eastern region over the next 4 years.
Western Power will lead this exciting $73.5 million initiative designed to help communities change the way they produce, use and save energy.
Residents will be offered FREE energy advisory services and exclusive discounts on solar hot water and solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. These systems will allow residents to create and use their own energy!
Working to bring Perth Solar City to the community is a Consortium lead by Western Power. Supporting Western Power are industry experts including Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority, the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council (EMRC), Prospero Productions, Mojarra, Solahart, Sunpower and Synergy.
Perth Solar City will allow households to better manage their energy use, make cleaner, greener choices and save money.
We all use electricity, so we all have a role in our energy future.
